Female co-stars are often pitted against one another in the press -- "Desperate Housewives," "Sex and the City," "RuPaul's Drag Race" -- and while I can't stop comparing Blake Lively and Leighton Meester, it has nothing to do with their "Gossip Girl" salaries, on set behavior or public perception. It's their clothes. I don't know why I find their warring wardrobes so intriguing. Perhaps it's because clothes are basically the most important character on "GG," but whenever these two attend the same event -- as they did with Fashion's Night Out in NYC yesterday -- I instantly do a split screen. And while nine times out of ten having the best accessories 24/7 (boobs & hair) typically help Blake inch ahead, a slicked back 'do and plunge-free neckline have nothing to do with Leighton's victory here. Simply put, the brunette's edgy electric blue almost-dominatrix Versus by Versace mini (smartly paired with rockin' Christian Louboutin shoe-boots) is just too eye-catching to ignore. Although I suspect many of you will prefer Blake's very pretty Marchesa.

This has gotten so ugly already. I don't even want to think about how bad it could get from here. Nicolette Sheridan has been given the green light to go ahead with her lawsuit against Marc Cherry for alleged assault and battery, gender violence, wrongful termination and discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation and age, after she was fired from Desperate Housewives in 2008. ABC tried to get the case thrown out but a judge said Nicole's lawsuit was valid and that she could continue. She's suing for $20 million dollars. She originally alleged that Marc Cherry had slapped her across the face, but the lawsuit was later amended to say that he gave her a "light tap" on the face.
